What the job involves:
* You will beresponsible for designated teams of assembly fitters encouraging team spirit, supervising and working to workshop schedules and production targets.
* Main duties include management of the production process through the assembly areas.
* Ensure timely production of assemblies and achieve output levels in line with the master schedule.
* Set daily/weekly targets in all work areas after weekly meetings with the Production Control Department.
* Maintain disciplines in procedures, health & safety, good housekeeping and general conduct.
Desirable Attributes:
* Technical understanding of Hydraulic, Pneumatics and Electrical systems.
* A knowledge of lean principles.
