Conveyancing Assistant, Sevenoaks - Circa £27,000 (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a highly experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join our clients well-established legal practice in Sevenoaks. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Legal Secretary with conveyancing experience or a Paralegal with a minimum of 12 months' experience in residential property law, looking to take on greater responsibility and contribute meaningfully to a busy and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting fee earners with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
* Drafting legal documentation and correspondence
* Handling Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions
* Managing client communication and ensuring excellent customer service
* Carrying out legal research and administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency
* Proactively managing files and ensuring all deadlines are met
Requirements:
* Minimum 12 months' experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or a Legal Secretary with extensive conveyancing exposure
* Strong working knowledge of the conveyancing process
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident working independently and using own initiative
* Professional, articulate, and client-focused
