We are seeking an experienced Corporate Risk market professional to take ownership of relationships with some of our most significant corporate clients. In this role, you will maximise client value through high‑quality, strategic account management that drives retention, strengthens engagement and enhances our reputation as a trusted partner. You will act as the primary point of contact for a defined portfolio of large corporate customers and intermediaries‑taking proactive responsibility for relationship development, complex query resolution, and providing expert guidance. You will also collaborate with and support colleagues, helping them articulate our value proposition and deliver consistently outstanding client experiences. What will you be doing?
Responsibilities
* Build strong relationships at all levels with our largest clients, providing clear, data‑led insights and regular scheme performance updates.
* Managing a portfolio of Group Life and Group Income Protection policies.
* Deliver engaging proposition overviews, particularly for Group Income Protection clients.
* Lead with a strong focus on client retention, ensuring our major corporate customers feel valued and supported.
* Use data to create meaningful insights that support informed decision‑making and help clients optimise scheme outcomes and retention.
* Work closely with Account Managers to strengthen relationships with key intermediaries and position us as a preferred provider.
* Collaborate with Underwriters to price and complete quotation requests.
* Maintain a solid understanding of the UK and international Group Risk market, applying up‑to‑date product and market knowledge effectively.
* Understand and adhere to FSA requirements and the Training & Competence scheme, ensuring compliance across all activity.
Qualifications
* GR1 qualification - essential
* Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate with impact
* Proven experience in the Group Risk market or in a client‑facing, corporate account management role is essential
* Ability to lead strategic conversations and build trust with senior stakeholders
* Skilled at delivering compelling, data‑driven insights to large corporate customers
* Solid understanding of the UK Group Risk market
* Strong planning, organization and prioritisation skills to manage a broad partner base
* Commercial acumen and negotiation strength
* Ability to identify value‑adding opportunities for customers and the business
* Self‑motivated, solutions‑focused, and comfortable managing internal and external stakeholders
* A customer centric mindset, ensuring experience sits at the heart of every interaction.

Working hours: This role is available on a part‑time, job‑share or full‑time basis.
