Experience in cost forecasting, estimating, or life cycle cost analysis will be highly valued. About the role: An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our Cost Engineering function, supporting key business decisions across manufacturing, design, and bidding teams. You will play a crucial role in producing robust, data-driven cost forecasts to inform project delivery from concept through to end-of-life support. Working closely with stakeholders across Design, Manufacturing, and Future Business functions, you will help drive continuous improvement in cost estimation processes, challenging assumptions and ensuring transparency in forecasting. Key Responsibilities:Build strong working relationships across functions to gather and analyse cost dataGenerate and maintain Business Cost Forecasting documents throughout the full project lifecycleSupport Manufacturing with production cost forecasts and conduct whole life cycle cost analysisProvide cost inputs to Bid Teams for future business opportunitiesCollaborate with Design teams to support design-to-cost initiativesAnalyse and report on cost data, challenging assumptions to improve forecasting accuracyLead and facilitate meetings to ensure clear communication and alignmentContinuously challenge and improve forecasting processes to enhance business outcomes What we need from you:Strong background in engineering and/or manufacturingPrevious experience in cost estimating, cost engineering, or life cycle cost analysis is desirableGood understanding of manufacturing processes and production life cycles If you would like to know more details about the position or want to register your interest, hit apply below.
