The Role
Are you an experienced administrative professional with a background in audit, bookkeeping, banking, or financial services? This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that supports some of the world’s largest organisations in the renewable energy sector.
We are seeking self-motivated, detail-oriented individuals with administrative experience in a regulated industry, ideally from a finance, audit, or bookkeeping background. An interest in sustainability is desirable, but more important is your strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, combined with a strong grasp of numerical and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform detailed administrative checks on renewable energy projects, including reviewing metering evidence, documentation, and cross verifying the work to ensure compliance and accuracy.
* Manage and maintain client data in the Registry software system, ensuring a high level of attention to detail.
* Handle client inquiries through our helpdesk, taking ownership of requests, conducting investigations, and providing clear, professional communication via email.
* Respond to and manage client communications, providing timely updates and advice, while ensuring adherence to GDPR and maintaining client confidentiality.
* Support operational processes for new products and services, working collaboratively with the wider team and contributing to planning and team meetings.
* Stay updated on any required training or industry changes relevant to your role.
About You:
We are looking for candidates with strong administrative experience, particularly from financial services, audit, or bookkeeping backgrounds, who are looking to bring their skills to the renewable energy sector. Attention to detail, excellent time management, and strong customer service skills are key for this role.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Experience in an administrative role, ideally within finance, auditing, banking, or bookkeeping, with capability to deliver consistent attention to detail.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an ability to understand and interpret financial or technical data.
* Excellent IT skills including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Familiarity with data protection regulations (GDPR) and a commitment to compliance and client confidentiality.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle complex inquiries and explain information clearly.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients, including those from different cultural backgrounds.
* A strong interest in sustainability.
* Language skills are highly desirable to support our global client base.

Package Description
* Salary: £26,000 per annum.
* Hours of work: Full time (35 hours), Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break.

Location: Sheffield, S10, with home working 1 day per week (Wednesdays).
