* Salary: GBP38,000 - GBP44,000 per annum
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Science Teacher to join our new Options Autism School - Skylarks School in Epsom, Surrey.
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore the natural world and develop critical thinking skills through engaging and hands-on science instruction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, deliver, and teach individual students or small groups, in accordance with the School's Curriculum framework and related policies.
2. Monitor, record, and report on student progress.
3. Contribute to and help implement developments related to the School Development Plan.
4. Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of students, in line with Company policies.
5. Develop and implement learning environments and programmes tailored to individual student needs.
6. Coordinate teaching, development, assessment, recording, and reporting of subjects across key stages as agreed with the Headteacher.
7. Devise, implement, and review individual education plans, behaviour plans, and other relevant plans in collaboration with staff.
8. Organise classroom resources, student groupings, and displays to create a stimulating learning environment.
9. Plan to ensure student safety, in line with risk assessments, both on and off-site.
10. Brief and support Learning Support Assistants, Tutors, Instructors, and care staff to produce effective teaching aids.
Qualifications Required
* UK QTS or equivalent
* Experience Teaching Key Stage 3 & 4

Our new Options Autism School will cater for pupils aged 11-19 with ASC and Complex Needs, with capacity for 60 pupils. For over 16 years, Options Autism has provided care and education to individuals with autism, complex needs, and learning difficulties.
