A well established leading UK manufacturer of drainage products is seeking a skilled Supervisor / Plastics Setter to join their team in Yaxley, Peterborough. This role combines hands-on machine setup and troubleshooting with leadership duties, ensuring a smooth and efficient manufacturing process. This is a weekend role working 05.45 – 18.00, Friday / Saturday / Sunday. As the Supervisor / Plastics Setter you will: Set up, adjust, and maintain plastics manufacturing machines to ensure optimal performance. Supervise the weekend production team, ensuring targets and quality standards are met. Troubleshoot machine issues and oversee maintenance to minimize downtime. Train and support operators on machinery setup and production processes. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies. Conduct quality checks to maintain production excellence. We are looking for a Supervisor / Plastics Setter with the following experience / qualifications: Previous experience within an injection moulding manufacturing environment as well as setting experience. Leadership or supervisory experience within a factory setting. Strong technical knowledge of machine set up and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proactive approach to improving processes and production efficiency Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
