Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MOT Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests on vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Pay is based on either a 4 or 5 day week
Duties
* Perform MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to conduct inspections and repairs.
* Identify any defects or issues during testing and provide detailed reports.
* Carry out heavy lifting tasks as necessary, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Stay updated with the latest industry standards and regulations related to vehicle testing.
Experience
* Proven experience as an MOT Tester or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
* Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks when required.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
