We are recruiting for Production Line/Factory Operatives for a client in Bottesford. The work is ongoing temporary. The hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:00 and Friday 06:00 - 14:00 with a pay rate of £12.35ph.
You will need to be able to work in different areas of the business depending on order requirements, which could include working on the line packing, hand feeding machines, moving materials or packaging. You will be on your feet for the whole shift and will be doing some lifting and moving, so this is a manually intensive role.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out tasks as assigned within the production and packing areas on a daily basis.
* Ensure Health & Safety procedures, Quality/Hygiene standards and Company Rules/Procedures are adhered to at all times.
* Be responsible for and ensure product quality is maintained in accordance with quality standards.
* Be able to adapt to change in a fast-moving environment.
* Support the line leader in achieving departmental objectives on the line.
* Use of scanning equipment will be required where necessary.
* Report problems or issues as they arise that may impact product quality or production activities.
* Ensure all required records are completed accurately.
* Timely and accurate cleaning of the line and end-of-day dismantling and cleaning of equipment, tools and work areas where appropriate.
