Contract Details
* Contract Term: Permanent, starting in September
* Hours: 30.25 hours per week (8:30am – 3:10pm, includes a 30 min lunch duty and a 30 min lunch break)
* Salary: SC-2, NJC points 3-5, Actual Salary £17,068 - £17,609 (FTE £24,796 -£25,583)
* Term Time only – 38 weeks per annum
* Annual Leave: Paid pro-rata outside of term time; no leave during term time
* Benefits: Local Government Pension Scheme
About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, hardworking team. The role initially involves supporting Year 1 pupils, with a knowledge of or willingness to learn phonics support essential.

St Leonard's CofE Primary School in Exeter, part of St Christopher's Multi Academy Trust, serves around 600 pupils. The school is set in extensive grounds with open spaces and woodlands, promoting outdoor learning. Our dedicated staff have contributed to our continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the learning and needs of pupils, including those with SEND
* Assist in classes and run small group activities
* Communicate effectively with children and adults, encouraging children to reach their full potential
