The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is seeking a Governance and Scrutiny Manager to join the team at County Hall Preston.

As Governance and Scrutiny Manager, you will work closely with Lancashire Constabulary, partners, stakeholders, and service providers. Your role will involve leading a team and providing independent, impartial advice to support the Police and Crime Commissioner in overseeing service providers and ensuring the delivery of Police and Crime Plan priorities.
You should demonstrate a collaborative working style that supports excellent public services. Good communication skills, an inquiring mind, and the ability to provide evidence-based challenge to improve service delivery are essential. Experience of scrutiny and review processes is required.
This role may require occasional evening and weekend work, travel across Lancashire, and periodic national travel. Flexibility in working hours is necessary to meet service demands.

Vetting and Medical
Successful applicants must undergo and pass NPPV 2 vetting. A minimum of 3 years UK residency and being 18 years old at the time of application are required. A medical assessment will also be conducted.
