Junior Java Developer – RFQ Trading Systems
📍 London (Hybrid) 3 - Days in Office
💰 Up to £75,000 + bonus
We’re hiring a Junior Java Developer (1–4 years) to work on a greenfield RFQ platform supporting a trading desk.
This is a backend role, close to the front office, where the services you build are used live by sales and traders. You’ll get strong exposure to event-driven systems and real production workflows, with support and mentorship from experienced engineers.
What you’ll do
* Build and support Java services across the RFQ lifecycle
* Work on event-driven and messaging-based components
* Integrate with pricing and trade booking systems
* Improve reliability and performance of live services
* Work closely with the Traders and Sales teams
* Work on a greenfield Trading Application
What we’re looking for
* 1–4 years’ commercial Java experience
* Solid Java and backend fundamentals
* Worked with Event Driven services
* Interest in trading systems (no prior experience required but preferred)
