This role is based primarily in Birkenhead, with occasional support required at our second house in New Brighton. You’ll work hands-on alongside the team and assist the Service Manager with leadership and administrative responsibilities.

* Assisting in day-to-day service management, including rota planning and quality assurance.
* Coaching and mentoring staff to foster a positive and supportive team culture.
* Conducting staff supervisions and appraisals.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with families, external professionals, and the wider MacIntyre network.
* Participating in the on-call rota.
* Collaborating with the Wirral & Wrexham management team and admin support.

* Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
* Prior experience leading or managing a team is ideal.
* A commitment to embedding MacIntyre’s values and DNA in all aspects of your work.
* Creativity, empathy, and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
* Confident using IT, as we move towards a digital care records system.
* Flexibility to travel for training and meetings in Milton Keynes, Wrexham, Warrington, and beyond (travel expenses paid).
* A willingness to travel between services.
* Have a drivers license.

Why join MacIntyre?

* Be part of a passionate, values-led organisation.
* Work within a strong support network of managers and admin staff.
* Continuous training and development opportunities.
* A meaningful role making a real difference in people’s lives.

Progression & Development

* While this role is hands-on and focused on day-to-day delivery, we see it as a potential stepping stone to a Manager-level position in the future. For the right person, there’s real scope to grow with us as the team and organisation evolve.

Your Voice Matters

* We’re looking for someone who can bring fresh eyes and isn’t afraid to challenge how things are done. If you’ve got ideas, we’re ready to listen. There’s space here to shape the role, influence how we work, and take initiative not just follow a job description.
