Main duties of the job
Duties include outpatient waiting list management, booking and outcoming patient appointments,
involve E ERostering, monitoring sickness and annual leave, conduct staff appraisals, report monthly Netcall statistics and deputise for the Clerical Lead /Ward Managers Assistant at internal meetings.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
·Maintaining good working relationship with colleagues
·To liaise in person and via telephone with patient’s relatives, clinicians and medical secretaries in departments across the Trust as required ensuring that a high-quality service is provided to all users.
1. To interact with external organisations such as GP surgeries via telephone and e-mail as required providing and ascertaining pertinent information.
·To plan, organise and manage own and others workload prioritising tasks appropriately for the service.
·Review, and where appropriate, escalate and implement administrative processes to ensure compliance with all local and national targets.
·Escalate to the line manager when appropriate
·To undertake any other duties commensurate with grade and experience.

Training and Qulaifications
Essential criteria
2. GCSE or Equivalent Grade C or above in English
Desirable criteria
3. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification within administration
4. ECDL or other equivalent IT qualification
Experience and Knowledge
Essential criteria
5. Previous clinical experience including telephone skills
6. IT literate
7. Experience working in busy customer focused environment
8. Experience of dealing with a range of challenging situations

9. Previous experience in NHS / Health Sector
