We are working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in the CV9 area of Warwick to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a full-time position starting September 2025. This role offers the chance to work closely with children who require additional support, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Recent experience supporting children in a UK primary school or early years setting
*
6 Months experience working with children in the UK
*
A genuine interest in working with children with SEN
*
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*
A patient, adaptable and empathetic approach to working with children
*
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – highly desirable
Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils, including those with SEN
*
Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering learning activities
*
Support children’s emotional, behavioural, and social development
*
Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
*
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCo, and external professionals
*
Uphold safeguarding and promote the school’s values in all aspects of the role
