Job Role Responsibilities:
As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning and delivery of multiple high-specification hotel furniture installation projects. This is a critical, client-facing leadership role that demands precision, commercial awareness, and a deep understanding of bespoke joinery within the hospitality industry.
Manage end-to-end delivery of bespoke furniture fit-out projects from award to handover
Develop detailed project plans, manage schedules, and coordinate site activities
Act as the primary point of contact for hotel clients, main contractors, architects, and internal teams
Ensure installation aligns with technical drawings, specifications, and design intent
Coordinate with the production team to align manufacturing with project timelines
Lead on-site meetings and provide regular progress reports to all stakeholders
Monitor installation teams and subcontractors for safety, quality, and compliance
Manage project budgets and work closely with the commercial team on valuations and variations
Resolve site issues promptly and effectively
Ensure a seamless client experience through high standards of service and delivery
The Candidate:
Proven experience as a Contracts or Project Manager in bespoke joinery or furniture fit-out
In-depth knowledge of furniture manufacturing, installation, and site coordination
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects
Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills
Commercially aware, with budget and subcontractor management experience
Able to read and interpret detailed technical/joinery drawings
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites across the UK and occasionally abroad
Trade or academic background in furniture, joinery, or interior fit-out
