A respected independent secondary school in Lincoln is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join its successful Science department from September. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils to develop curiosity, confidence, and strong scientific understanding.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

* Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

* Supporting pupils in developing scientific knowledge and investigative skills

* Preparing pupils for GCSE Science examinations

* Delivering practical experiments safely and effectively

* Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback

* Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives

* Supporting extracurricular activities such as science clubs or STEM projects

* Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment


Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

* Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

* Have strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum

* Be confident teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4

* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills

* Be able to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for Science

* Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental success

* Be committed to ongoing professional development
