Role: Bookkeeper

Salary: Up to £30,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities
* Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records for a range of clients
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns in line with MTD requirements
* Bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
* Processing purchase and sales invoices
* Liaising with clients and responding to day to day queries
* Ensuring records are kept up to date and deadlines are met
Requirements
* Previous experience within an accountancy practice or similar environment
* Strong knowledge of VAT and bookkeeping processes
* Experience using Xero or similar cloud based software
* Good attention to detail
