What Is the Opportunity?
I am currently recruiting for a Risk Control Consultant to join my clients team based in the UK. You will be a strong advocate for Risk Control, giving risk management advise and seeking to become the trusted advisor for their insureds.
What Will You Do?
Conducting risk control surveys at client locations to determine potential hazards and risk factors to be considered in underwriting/risk selection. This could involve assessing fire, business interruption, health and safety, motor or products liability exposures.
Writing technically detailed reports that provide a clear assessment of risk and clearly articulates recommendations.
Consulting with clients on ways to control hazards in order to reduce or prevent losses.
Influencing clients to implement recommendations.
Building and maintaining productive relationships with underwriting and service teams assigned to support the business, with the broker/agent community, with Claims, with other Risk Control staff, and with clients.
Conducting research for underwriters or clients on class of business, operations, unique or unidentified exposures, or any other technical subject requiring similar analysis.
Coordinating and overseeing key large accounts and managing large customers relationships.

You'll need
Experience in safety, risk control, or related fields including but not limited to construction, manufacturing or relevant military experience or bachelor's degree in related field required.
Must be able to attain appropriate certification to meet legal requirements where applicable.
