Experience a dynamic shift pattern that allows you to balance work and life. Key Responsibilities: As a Switchboard Operator, you will: Provide top-notch customer service to all callers. Answer calls at a centralised switchboard, using prescriptive questioning to philtre and direct them efficiently. Resolve queries at the first point of contact whenever possible. Operate the switchboard fault reporting system and notify supervisors of any necessary actions. Support Control Room Operations in major incident situations as needed. Communicate and transmit messages effectively, utilising Force Systems to resolve queries. Uphold policies on Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, and Data Protection. What We're Looking For: To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate: Fluency in both Welsh (Level 2) and English. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team or work independently. Proficiency in information technology, including knowledge of Microsoft packages. A commitment to compliance with relevant legislation and best practises. Important Information: Applicants must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 continuous years.
