Contract Opportunity: 2x L3 Database Administrators (Snowflake OR Greenplum/PostgreSQL)
Location: Glasgow
Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £400 – £500 per day inside IR35
About the Role
Our client is seeking experienced L3 Database Administrators to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves managing and optimizing Greenplum, PostgreSQL, and/or Snowflake databases in a hybrid working environment.
Open Positions:
* Role 1: Snowflake DBA
* Role 2: Greenplum/Postgres DBA (Snowflake knowledge is a plus)
Key Responsibilities
1. Administer and maintain PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and Greenplum databases.
2. Implement Snowflake modeling (roles, schemas, databases) and integrate with data processing technologies.
3. Design and manage data lakes, structures, and models suited for Snowflake architecture.
4. Build data ingestion pipelines using tools like Informatica, Talend.
