Rolesummary:
The Operations Manager reports totheGeneral Manager andtheroleistoleadandmanageallaspectsoftheservicecentre to ensure achievementofbudgetedand/ortargetedservice,
Responsibleandaccountablefortheeffectivemanagementofallemployedcolleagues,
thirdpartysubcontractorsandownerdrivers.Managethepremises,equipmentandconsumables,
ensuringthemostcosteffectiveandhighqualityperformanceisdelivered.
Theroleistodriveandleadthechangeprocesstodeliverafullyintegratedservicecentreoperation.
Keyresponsibilities
* Evidentlinemanagementexperienceinproduction/logistics parcelsservicesenvironment .
* Experienceofmanagingbudgets,profitandlossaccounts
* Havetheabilityandthetrackrecordtoseekimprovementswithouthavingtobeprompted.
* Abilitytoidentifyproblemsanddesigndeployablesolutions.
* ProvenrecordofsuccessfulCustomerinterfaceandsuppliermanagement.
* Abilitytomanagecommercialrelationshipswithcustomersandsuppliersthroughthemaintenanceofservice/productprocessestodeliverexcellentcustomerservice;promotingorganicgrowthandreducingcustomerattrition.
