Key Responsibilities
* Manage product development projects from concept through to mass production• Deliver robust designs that meet customer specifications and performance targets• Perform thermodynamic and fluid transfer calculations using internal and external tools• Conduct design evaluations via theoretical tools, CAD (CREO), and prototype testing• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including validation, manufacturing, and engineering• Develop and deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders• Occasional UK and overseas travel may be required
Candidate Requirements
* Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (with a strong mechanical bias)• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an engineering design or development role• Automotive industry experience preferred but not essential• Project management experience within a technical environment• Strong 3D/2D design experience (preferably CREO) including GD&T knowledge• Familiarity with CFD, FEA, and numerical analysis tools• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
