Electrician - HS2 Project (BBV, Birmingham)
McGinley Support Services is looking for experienced Electricians to join the HS2 project (BBV section) in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects, offering competitive pay and consistent hours.
Job Details
* Location: Birmingham (HS2 - BBV Project)
* Start Date: ASAP
* Duration: Ongoing, long-term opportunity
* Rate: £24.03 per hour (PAYE Direct)
* Overtime: £31.95 per hour (after 10 hours daily)
* Digs/Lodge Allowance: £50.65 per day available
Role Overview - Electrician HS2
As a JIB Gold Electrician, you'll be working on a major section of HS2, carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and inspection tasks in line with site standards and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Installing electrical systems and containment for construction and infrastructure works
* Conducting routine inspections and testing
* Ensuring all electrical work meets BS7671 wiring regulations
* Working safely and efficiently as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Requirements
* Gold JIB Card - essential
* Full UK Driving Licence - essential
* Proven experience as an Electrician on civil engineering or large-scale construction projects
* Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance
