Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Pay: £90–£120 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support students in schools across Stockton. We are keen to appoint a motivated and dependable individual who can assist with daily classroom activities while helping students remain engaged and confident in their learning.
The L2 Teaching Assistant role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to student development while working closely with teaching staff to deliver positive learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with delivering learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff
* Provide additional support to students who require help completing tasks
* Encourage participation and maintain positive learning behaviours
* Prepare and organise classroom resources for lessons and activities
* Support the development of students' confidence, independence, and communication skills
* Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
Level 2 TA Requirements:
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience is desirable
* Experience working with children or young people in a supportive capacity
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learners
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
