Your new role
As the Exams and Data Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of all internal and external examinations. You will be responsible for:
1. Managing all exam-related administration, including entries, timetables, and secure handling of papers
2. Liaising with staff, Heads of Department, and examination boards to ensure accurate andpliant exam processes
3. Disseminating key information to staff, students, and parents/carers
4. Organising and training external invigilators
5. Preparing exam rooms, seating plans, and materials
6. Making arrangements for students with specific needs (, SEN) and external candidates
7. Overseeing the school’s use of MIS to manage assessment data, pupil transfers, and performance tracking
8. Supporting the senior leadership team with data analysis and reporting
9. Managing the construction and distribution of reports and individual development plans
10. Supervising admin staff involved in exams and managing related budgets
11. Supporting the maintenance of attendance and performance data, and assisting with school timetabling
What you'll need to succeed
12. Experience working with school data systems SIMS or Arbor
13. Strong organisational and administrative skills
14. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
15. Confidentmunication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
16. Previous experience in an exams or data-related role within education is highly desirable.
