Governors are seeking to appoint an individual to join our team of Cover Supervisors providing daily cover to pupils across Years 7-11 when staff are absent.
The primary focus will be to maintain good order, keep pupils on task and support pupils to achieve their lesson objectives. Whilst cover will be the main purpose of this role, at times when cover is needed the postholder will also support the Inclusion Team, providing pastoral support to pupils in line with the school’s Behaviour Management Procedures.
From time to time the successful candidate may be given a timetable commitment to cover longer term staff absence for which additional payment at the appropriate point of the teacher’s pay scale will be made. We are therefore keen to hear about your subject expertise or areas of interest through your application form.
