We are seeking an Operations Administrator to join a forward‑thinking, growing service‑based organisation in Stevenage. This is a full‑time, office‑based position, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm.
Role Overview
As the Operations Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of daily operations. Working as part of a small team of three, you will take ownership of key administrative processes and help ensure the service function operates efficiently. Key Responsibilities
Collate, file, and manage engineers' reports while monitoring schedules to ensure all contracted work is completed.
Oversee the company vehicle fleet, ensuring MOTs, servicing, and warranties are up to date.
Coordinate new vehicle orders when required.
Manage and monitor the customer service schedule.
Maintain accurate records and update internal databases.
Input and update online sales data.
Prepare and complete contract renewal documentation.
Set up new customer accounts on the online portal.
Carry out audit checks on the customer portal.
Provide holiday cover for colleagues, including tasks such as invoicing and stock ordering.
Assist with raising job requests and producing additional invoices for ad‑hoc work.
Offer flexibility as the role evolves with the business.
Person Specification
Previous experience in an administrative role.
Comfortable working in a small, hands‑on company environment.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicator with good problem‑solving ability.
Process‑driven and methodical approach to work.
Quick learner who is open to embracing new technology.
