Your Role in Our Team
As a Reception Teacher, you'll be instrumental in creating an inspiring and effective learning experience for your pupils. You'll:
* Plan & Deliver Engaging Lessons: Design and deliver a creative and stimulating Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, focusing on play-based learning, personal development, communication, and early literacy and numeracy.
* Foster a Positive Classroom Environment: Create a nurturing, inclusive, and well-managed classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and motivated to explore and learn.
* Assess & Monitor Progress: Regularly assess pupil progress against EYFS frameworks, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
* Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure a holistic approach to pupil development and well-being.
What We're Looking For
We're searching for individuals who are:
* Truly Passionate: A genuine desire to inspire and educate our youngest children, making a significant difference in their foundational development.
* Qualified & Experienced: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have relevant experience teaching in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ideally Reception.
* Team Players: Eager to collaborate, share best practices, and work effectively with colleagues.
* Proactive Learners: Keen to develop new pedagogical skills and knowledge to best support pupils.
* Academically Prepared: Hold GCSEs in Maths and English (Level 2/Grade C or above).
* Safeguarding Aware: Possess a strong understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
* Mobile: Have access to your own transport.
