Job Title: Finance Assistant Department: Finance Location: Colnbrook (Office Based) Package: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE Position Type: Permanent Reporting to: Head of Finance Linehaul Express (Linex) provides access to products and end to end services that facilitate the transit of international imports and exports, specialising in E-Commerce, One Stop solutions, Express Courier Services and Cargo Services. We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident individual to support the finance team in the position of Finance Assistant with all aspects of daily duties, ensuring the efficient running of the department in line with month end and reporting deadlines. The role will include Accounts Payable and Account Receivable, as well as assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts. The role & responsibilities and criteria are outlined but not limited to, the below: Assisting with billing from the operating system and inputting/uploading of sales invoices into Sage with correct nominal code allocation Processing of purchase invoices into Sage Processing of supplier payments Allocation of supplier and customer receipts Monthly reconciliations between operating systems, including bank statements, debtors and creditor listings Other general ad hoc duties as and when required Essential Criteria GCSE Minimum A-C Grade in Maths and English or equivalent Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Must be able to work independently and as part of a larger team with a flexible can do attitude Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet set deadlines Intermediate excel skills Detail Orientated Desirable Criteria 2 years experience in similar finance role Experience with Sage and Microsoft Business Central Industry Experience
