Biomedical Technician / Biomedical Engineer ?? Hospitals & Clinics | Project-Based (6-9 Months) ?? Full-Time or Part-Time We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Technician / Biomedical Engineer to support a project-based assignment (6-9 months) focused on the i nspection, safety testing, and technical verification of medical devices across hospitals and clinical facilities. This opportunity is ideal for professionals looking for contract, freelance, or project-based work in a dynamic clinical environment, with the flexibility of full-time or part-time engagement. About the Role In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety, functionality, and compliance of medical equipment used in patient care environments. You will work directly within hospitals and clinics, collaborating closely with biomedical teams and clinical staff. Key Responsibilities Perform on-site inspections, checks, and technical verification of medical devices across hospitals and clinics Ensure medical equipment operates safely and in compliance with local regulations, applicable standards, and hospital procedures Conduct or support functional testing, safety testing, and preventive maintenance activities Accurately document inspection results in maintenance or asset management systems Collaborate with clinical staff, biomedical departments, and hospital management Escalate identified technical issues and coordinate follow-up actions or repairs as needed Travel and work across multiple clinical sites, based on project requirements What You Bring Degree or qualification in Biomedical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering Technology Minimum of 2 years of experience working with medical devices, preferably within hospitals or clinical environments Alternatively, a background as an Electronics or Electrical Technician with relevant medical device experience Hands-on experience in medical device testing, inspection, servicing, or maintenance Familiarity with medical device safety, quality, and compliance standards Proficiency with MS Office and digital documentation or reporting tools Ability to work independently, reliably, and efficiently in a project-based setting Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Good English communication skills Valid driving license, required for multi-site hospital work Own vehicle Willingness to travel extensively within the country Why Join This Project Short- to mid-term project with a clear scope and defined deliverables Hands-on work that directly contributes to patient safety and clinical quality Flexible working arrangements (Full-Time or Part-Time) Exposure to a variety of clinical environments, technologies, and medical devices Structured project support within a professional and collaborative team environment \LI-CES and LI-DNP LI-HCP remote IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
