About Amal
We are currently seeking an experienced personal assistant to support a young mum called Amal, who lives in Kingston Park with her husband and 3 young children. One child has a diagnosis of Autism. Amal has a diagnosis of PPPD (a severe form of complexed vertigo type symptoms) and a heart condition that affects her balance, mobility and energy levels.
Responsibilities
* Support Amal with tasks that help her look after her young family.
* Accompany Amal to enjoy activities within the local community with her family, including visits to the local park, walks in the local nature reserve and shopping trips.
* Assist and support Amal in the kitchen to prepare meals for the family and bake if desired.
* Help Amal read and write when she has the opportunity and is keen to pick up these hobbies again.
* Perform bed‑changing and laundry, as these tasks are too strenuous for Amal to complete.
* Carry out light cleaning duties on occasion to assist Amal in clearing and cleaning up after the children.
Requirements
* Experience working in a busy household with young children is advantageous.
* A car driver would be preferred but is not essential.
* The successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K. at the time of starting employment.
