We are currently looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join the Finance team at our Head Office in Lutterworth.
As a FP & A Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to lead the financial planning, forecasting, scenario modelling, capacity planning and performance benchmarking processes across the business, aligned to strategic priorities.The role provides a forward-looking, data-driven and externally informed view of financial performance, enabling senior leadership to make confident strategic and operational decisions
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Owning and leading all financial budgeting and forecasting processes, coordinating inputs across all functions and depots.
Leading the annual budget and periodic re-forecast cycles (weekly/monthly/quarterly), ensuring submissions are timely, accurate, and appropriately challenged.
Owning and maintaining the central financial models used for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
Supporting with strategic decision-making, investment cases, and resource allocation.
Delivering clear variance analysis and narrative insight, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and performance drivers, supported by appropriate benchmarks.
Developing and maintaining robust scenario models across key business drivers.
Ensuring consistency, governance, and control over financial data, assumptions, and reporting outputs.
Improving automation, standardisation, and control within planning and reporting processes.
Delivering clear variance analysis and narrative insight, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and performance drivers, supported by appropriate benchmarks.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
A resilient self-starter who identifies problems and implements solutions.
A strong business acumen to diagnose business performance issues & implement improvements.
Credible and persuasive communication skills, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders.
Previous financial planning/commercial experience essential.
