About Our Client

Job Description
3. Advise management on accident prevention, environmental incidents, and HSE policy implementation.
4. Develop safe operational risk assessments and procedures.
5. Review and maintain HSE processes in line with recognised ISO standards such as ISO14001
6. Manage health surveillance, drugs and alcohol testing, and training systems.
7. Ensure energy conservation to achieve annual reductions.
8. Collaborate with teams to develop and implement HSE improvement strategies.
9. Deliver HSE awareness training.
10. Analyse incident and environmental data to drive performance improvements.
11. Coordinate H&S, and environmental management system processes and internal & external audits.
12. Implement safety and environmental management systems, procedures, and policies.
13. Investigate workplace incidents to prevent future occurrences.
14. Conduct site inspections, audits, training, and provide support.
15. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement risk mitigation measures.
16. Follow up on audit actions and non-compliances.
17. Perform risk assessments and follow up on resulting actions.
18. Stay informed on H&S and environmental legislation changes and assess their impact.
19. Generate reports on environmental performance and compliance.
20. Investigate environmental incidents and non-compliance issues.
21. Provide training on environmental policies and practices.
22. Stay updated on environmental legislation and communicate changes to management.
The Successful Applicant
23. NEBOSH Diploma/ NVQ L5 in OHAS
24. In depth knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 37001, OHSAS and ISO 45001 and integrated management systems
25. IMEA qualification and membership or equivalent
26. Experienced in working in a multi-site environment with warehousing, transport and Manufacturing within FMCG industries.
27. Strong technical knowledge in health, safety and environmental legislation and compliance
28. Experience of Leadership across multi-site
29. Ability to coach, mentor and inspire others
30. Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
31. Excellent people management and influencing skills
32. Flexibility in terms of work location and hours/shifts
33. Experience of driving and leading through change
34. Experience of leading projects
