Location: Flexible / Hybrid - up to 3 days per week in Blackfriars Office London
Unilever Marketing Academy Our Marketing Academy exists as thought leaders to inspire and enable our Marketing teams to build meaningfully different and desirable brands.
JOB PURPOSE The Marketing Academy Assistant (WL1) plays a critical enabling role in powering Unilever's Marketing Academy's Marketing Hub. This role sits at the intersection of marketing capability building, digital platforms, data & AI-enabled learning. The role holder will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Marketing Hub resources, support the launch and ongoing evolution of Unilever's first enterprise AI custom agent for "in-the-flow-of-work" learning, and provide operational and analytical support to the Marketing Academy team. This is an ideal role for someone who is curious about marketing, technology, AI and the world at large, and who enjoys turning insights into action.
Responsibilities
* Marketing Hub & Learning Platform Management
o Own the end-to-end management of Marketing Hub resources, ensuring content is accurate, up to date, well-structured and easy to access.
o Manage and continuously improve the Marketing Academy SharePoint, including content governance, organisation, tagging and user experience.
o Act as a key point of contact for Marketing Hub queries, supporting smooth day-to-day operations.
* AI & Digital Learning Enablement
o Support the launch and adoption of Unilever's first enterprise AI custom agent, designed to enable "in-the-flow-of-work" learning for marketers.
o Use prompting and AI tools to help curate, surface and improve learning content and experiences.
o Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI-enabled learning can add value and scale impact.
* Analytics, Insights & Continuous Improvement
o Understand and monitor Marketing Hub and learning analytics (usage, engagement, performance).
o Support in translating data, dashboards and AI-generated insights into clear recommendations and actions to improve content, experience and impact.
* Budget & Operational Support
o Support budget management, including raising POs, managing invoices and ensuring governance processes are followed.
o Provide general operational and coordination support to the Marketing Academy team to ensure smooth delivery of priorities.
* Outside-In & Curiosity Agenda
o Coordinate the Outside-In agenda for the Marketing Academy, bringing in inspiration from the wider world of marketing, learning, technology, AI and culture.
o Stay curious about external trends, best practices and innovations, sharing relevant insights with the team.
All About You
* Essential
o Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economic & / or Marketing or work experience in business / marketing is mandatory if Degree is different.
o Strong digital skills with confidence working across platforms and tools.
o Experience using or strong interest in AI tools, including prompt-based AI.
o Tech fluency with SharePoint (or the ability to learn quickly and independently).
o Data competency, with the ability to interpret dashboards, reports and AI-generated insights to drive action.
o Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
o Clear communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

o Early experience in learning & capability building.

Location Note: In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London. This site will house some employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars together with colleagues in Lever House in Kingston. The campus is due to be completed in 2026.
