Job title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Radway Green
Salary: £47,418 inclusive of 25% shift allowance (Basic £37,935)
What You’ll Be Doing
* Ensuring processes are maintained and operated in a safe manner and escalate issues affecting safety within the given production area
* Ensuring that work undertaken adheres to relevant quality standards and provides support in the implementation of quality improvement projects
* Operating manufacturing processes and facilities to meet production programme requirements
* Supporting implementation of continuous improvement activities
* Identifying, raising and implementing solutions to safety, quality and production problems
Essential qualifications
* A time served mechanical engineering apprenticeship in a manufacturing environment (minimum NVQ Level 3)
* Experience of working within a production environment whilst conducting preventative maintenance activities
* Experience in the setting and operating of manufacturing plant and equipment
* Experienced in fault finding with root cause, corrective and preventative activities
Desirable qualifications
* Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
* Experience with Pneumatic and automated systems

The Manufacturing Team and Working Hours
The Manufacturing Team operates on a 3 shift rotating system of 37 hours per week. Shifts consist of Monday to Thursday, with Friday having reduced hours. Overtime opportunities are available with enhanced pay.
