The opportunity
As an Assistant Manager at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:
* Own and manage a client portfolio with minimal support from senior staff
* Support in delivering revenue and profitability targets
* Foster enduring client relationships
* Develop and inspire our smarter people plan
Day to day duties
* Manage a portfolio of clients where your experience of P11ds, IHT and personal tax compliance
* Deal with ad hoc duties as they arise You will have strong experience of working within practice and have exposure to the essential elements of client service and delivery
* You will be keen to develop further and continue your professional development.
* Lead, manage, motivate and coach other members of the team so supervisory experience would be a distinct advantage. You will be working with a great team of like-minded colleagues all focused on supporting each other to perform at their best
What are we looking for?
* CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) qualified
* Our clients come from all industries, so exposure to multiple sectors would be a distinct advantage
* Previous personal/private client Tax or Mixed Tax experience in a similar role within a practice environment is essential
* Strong technical knowledge and the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax legislation
