The Role
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronics systems that enhance the productivity and capabilities of our aerodynamics development processes for both motorsport and high-performance production vehicles. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to technical and engineering challenges. Your role will significantly contribute to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
1. Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
2. Create detailed system architectures and specifications meeting or exceeding requirements.
3. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to create innovative solutions.
4. Liaise with external suppliers, evaluate, and select components and technologies.
5. Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging for functionality and performance.
6. Oversee delivery of prototypes and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
7. Prepare and present technical reports, specifications, and presentations to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration, with multidisciplinary system design experience.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment with good organization, collaboration, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* Experience with automotive, motorsports, and aerodynamics testing.
* Familiarity with system simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
* Expertise in CAD and mechanical design.
* Knowledge of control systems and theory.
