Operations Manager
Location: Beverley
Salary: Competitive (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing and innovative manufacturing business based in Beverley. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of a key business unit, overseeing production, warehouse operations, and distribution.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about driving performance, improving processes, and leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations across production, warehouse, and distribution
Ensure production and demand planning aligns with customer requirements
Monitor and improve performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage production schedules to meet demand forecasts
Ensure consistent product quality and compliance with standards
Work closely with procurement and inventory teams to maintain material availability
Identify and resolve operational and production issues efficiently
Oversee order fulfilment, dispatch, and delivery processes
Optimise transport and distribution to improve service levels and reduce costs
Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners and suppliers
Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams
Manage staffing levels, training, and performance reviews
Promote a positive and productive working culture
Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulationsAbout You
Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Production Manager, or similar role
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent organisational and problem-solving ability
Experience working with KPIs and driving continuous improvement
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft OfficeWhat's On Offer
