Trust Education are recruiting for a Part-Time Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join a welcoming and supportive school in the S63 area. This role is 2 days per week, with flexible working days, starting January 2026 to cover maternity leave.
The Role:

Lead and manage the school’s SEND provision.

Support staff in delivering high-quality teaching for pupils with additional needs.
*
Liaise with parents, external agencies, and the local authority.
*
Ensure EHCP processes and statutory requirements are followed.
Requirements:
*
Ideally hold the NASENCO qualification (or be working towards it).
*
Strong understanding of BMBC EHCP procedures.
*
Proven experience in a SENCO or similar SEND leadership role.
*
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
