Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

Purpose of the Job
The role will require you to service and repair all types of heating equipment, including gas‑fired unit heaters, air handling units and gas‑fired boilers. Call outs will be a part of your daily duties, requiring good experience and knowledge of gas‑fired heating equipment. You will work independently to resolve faults and issues quickly and accurately. Minor plumbing works may also be required.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned, preventative maintenance.
* Respond to breakdowns and call‑outs.
* Fault find on the full spectrum of HVAC units.
* Carry out small works installations (e.g., water heater installation or boiler swaps).
* Provide accurate and timely job reports and service sheets.
* Assist on other jobs within skill set around the site as needed.
* Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and deliver excellent customer service.
* Maintain professional and technical skills through continuous personal development and lifelong learning.
Skills and Experience
* Fully qualified commercial gas engineer with current ACS certificates.
* Certificates: COCN1 Core Commercial Gas Safety; ICPN1 Installation First Fix on Commercial Pipework; CIGA1 Indirect Fired Commercial Appliances; BMP1 Gas Boosters; CORT1 Overhead Radiant Tube & Radiant Plaque Heaters; TPCP1a Tightness Testing & Direct Purging of Pipework not exceeding 1 m³.
* Hot Water Systems and Safety Course (Vented & Unvented Hot Water Course).
* 5‑10 years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience working on large commercial boilers and direct‑fired AHUs.
* Ability to communicate at all levels.
* Organised and disciplined approach with attention to detail.
* Computer literate – Word, Excel.
