Blue Arrow Bristol are looking for delivery / collections van drivers to work for our client based in Avonmouth BS11. The roles will involve delivering or collecting parcels to stores and completing between 10-15 jobs per day. The positions are ongoing long-term, please see below for further details. Working Days & Hours: The client operates Monday to Saturday and you will be working 5 days per week (part-time work, e.g. 3 or 4 shifts per week will also be available) It is quite important that you are able to work occasional Saturdays Start times are 10am (sometimes 10.30am) Shifts will be around 8 hours long Pay Rates: £13.42 per hour for the first 12 weeks £14.02 per hour after 12 weeks All candidates will need to pass a driving assessment (theory questionnaire and a practical 15mins drive around the industrial estate) and the work will start immediately for those who passed. You will be using PDA device to record all the deliveries and collections so candidates will need to have basic IT skills or willingness to learn. Candidate Requirements: Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences Previous experience in a driving role is preferred Good customer service skills and telephone manner Ability to work occasional Saturdays Please note that client can accept young drivers and there is no minimum age requirement.
