An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified HCPC registered Occupational Therapist or an already established Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our team. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is keen to develop their clinical knowledge and skills in a supportive environment.
Our broad range of 9 monthly rotations allow therapists time to learn and develop within each specialty; rotations include:
* Midlothian Community Hospital
* Discharge to Assess
* Midlothian Assessment and Rehabilitation Team
The rotations operate across Midlothian including inpatient and community settings and all departments are committed to regular in‑service training, peer group sessions, continuous professional development, appraisal and personal development.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check done than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
