Position: Freight Forwarder
Location: Chelmsford
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30 - 2 days working from home
Salary: Up to £34,000
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the exportation of Less than Container Loads (LCL) and Full Container Loads (FCL) shipments via sea freight. You must have a background in sea freight operations with a UK forwarder.

Your key responsibilities as Ocean Export Operator:
* Complete start-to-finish export consignments via sea freight
* Responsible for the day to day running of allocated LCL movements
* Exports globally
* Create bookings from the origin
* Provide freight rates, quotes and pricing solutions for customers
* Track and update shipment statuses in the company's system and provide regular updates to clients
* Complete customs procedures
* Ensure compliance with export regulations
* Developing good working relationships with shipping lines, overseas agents, hauliers and our other branches
* Previous experience in quoting and operations of export ocean freight forwarding is essential
