Patient Booker
Red Recruitment is recruiting a Patient Booker to begin working immediately in a hospital in Bangor. This is a temporary position with lots of opportunities.
This role will involve booking appointments for patients, completing a variety of administration duties and ensuring the smooth running of the department.
Key Responsibilities for a Patient Booker
* Booking patients in for appointments or their transport to and from hospital
* Chasing up reports
* Inputting patient data
* Being the first point of patient contact by answering the phone or email
* Ensuring patients appointments are booked correctly and efficiently
* Providing up to date information to patients
* Completing any administration duties that may be required
Key Skills for a Patient Booker
* You should have a keen eye for detail
* Great communication skills including both written and verbal is required
* You ideally will be passionate about people and want to help others
* Strong administration and booking experience and who worked either in primary or secondary NHS care
Package for a Patient Booker
* Salary: £14.00 per hour
* Contract Type: Temporary
* Location: Bangor
* Hours: Monday - Friday - 8am - 4pm
Qualifications
* Proven NHS booking experience, ideally within Endoscopy
* Experience in a hospital setting or a GP practice booking
