An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in North London. This is an ideal role for a qualified or QBE accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing a varied client portfolio of SMEs and owner-managed businesses, supporting their growth while delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:
* Preparation and review of statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102.
* Corporation tax computations and submissions.
* Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
* Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
* Supporting partners with advisory and planning work.
* Assisting with workflow management to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met.
The successful Senior Accountant:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
* Previous experience in a UK practice environment.
* Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Iris (or similar).
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
