We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to join our team!
Under the direction of the Community Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor maintains the property in a high-quality condition, provides excellent customer service, supervises move-in preparations, and operates within the approved budget. The typical work hours are based on community needs and may include weekends and after-hours emergency services.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Hands-on knowledge of typical apartment maintenance tasks is required.
* Leadership skills and the ability to deal effectively with customers are essential.
* Basic knowledge of HVAC systems; must become CFC certified within 90 days of employment.
Education and Experience
* At least one year of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor with a professional management firm.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Community Manager in hiring, inspecting, counseling, promoting, staffing, and, if necessary, terminating employees, as directed by the Regional Manager.
* Train staff members.
* Schedule work assignments.
* Maintain a safe working environment.
* Ensure common areas are safe, in good repair, and clean.
* Perform preventive maintenance on pools, parking lots, building exteriors, etc.
* Make recommendations for capital improvements.
* Respond to all service requests within 24 hours.
* Inspect quality of maintenance at competing properties.
* Order parts needed for community repairs.
* Educate staff on safe working conditions and stay informed on OSHA guidelines and safety protocols.
