The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially drivenCommercial Directorto join our senior leadership team. This pivotal role will oversee our sales and account management function at the London head office while leading and supporting our international sales offices in the USA, Barbados, and Dubai.
The Commercial Director will be responsible for delivering sustained revenue growth, improving margins, and positioning Jalin Design as the partner of choice for luxury hospitality brands worldwide. You will be equally comfortable managing and mentoring high-performing teams as you are personally engaging with clients and closing major accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, inspire, and manage the UK sales and account management team, ensuring exceptional client service and strong account retention.
* Provide oversight, guidance, and strategy to international sales teams in the USA, Barbados, and Dubai.
* Develop and execute a global sales strategy to expand Jalin Design’s international presence.
* Drive profitability by improving margins, negotiating effectively, and identifying upsell opportunities.
* Personally represent Jalin Design in key client relationships, pitching both bespoke and ready-to-wear collections.
* Collaborate with design, operations, and production teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
* Report to the CEO’s and Managing Director as a senior board member, contributing to the wider strategic direction of the business.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven track record in senior commercial leadership, ideally within fashion, uniforms, hospitality, or luxury goods.
* Experience managing multi-location sales teams, with strong international exposure.
* Strong commercial acumen with a focus on growth, profitability, and margin improvement.
* A confident, charismatic communicator with the ability to win trust at C-suite level.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the energy and ambition to help scale a growing global brand.
