An established and reputable electrical contracting firm based in York is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Manager to lead and oversee the successful delivery of electrical projects across commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of electricians and subcontractors on-site and in-office
* Oversee project planning, scheduling, and delivery to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance across all projects
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
* Support estimating and quoting processes for new and ongoing contracts
* Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality checks
* Provide mentorship, training, and performance reviews for staff
* Monitor inventory, materials, and procurement requirements
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role within the electrical contracting industry
* Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2)
* ECS Gold Card or equivalent
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* Experience with NICEIC processes and periodic inspection reporting
* SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification
* Familiarity with smart home and energy-efficient system
