The Role
As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students throughout their learning journey. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting students in lessons, both one‑to‑one and in small groups, to help them understand and engage with the curriculum
* Assisting with classroom management to maintain a positive, focused and inclusive learning environment
* Encouraging students to build confidence, stay motivated, and reach their full potential
* Supporting the development of key academic, social and personal skills across a range of subjects
* Helping teachers with lesson preparation and general classroom support where needed

* Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
